Not all bursts are spectacular. A hole the size of a small nail in a water supply pipe can lose 4,500 litres of water a day, or over 1.6m litres a year. A burst this small could cost you thousands of pounds a year in water and wastewater charges alone. And an underground leak may never show above ground so you may have one or more that you don’t even know about.
Whether using the latest techniques such as gas injection and correlation, or relying on the traditional techniques such as surface sounding, finding leaks is a specialised business. At Anglian Water, our water supply network has one of the lowest levels of leakage in the world. We want to help you to be as efficient as possible by repairing unwanted leaks, controlling site costs and preventing unnecessary waste. To do this Anglian Water provides a specialist leakage find and fix service that helps to identify and then repair leaks on customer sites.
This service is provided by our partner contractor, Hydrosave, a leading water services provider. Hydrosave were selected following a comprehensive review of the market. We have secured the most competitive rates in the industry so we can save you money.
If you suspect that you might have a leak or leaks on your premises give us a call. After discussing the situation with you, we can get a leak detection team to your site at a time to suit your business needs. They will find and isolate the burst and affect a repair as quickly, and with as little disturbance, as possible. Our service includes excavation, repair and reinstatement of the affected area.
A standard charge applies for a day of leakage detection work at a single site (additional out of hours and emergency call out charges apply). Once any leaks have been located, repair costs will be calculated and no work is carried out without your authorisation so there is no unexpected bill at the end.
