How to pay your bill

It's easy and convenient. We offer a range of payment methods to suit everyone's needs.

By bank transfer - BACS or CHAPS

If you wish to pay your bill using bank transfer/BACS, please quote Anglian Water's bank account number 90011916, our sort code 20-43-63 and your nine-digit account number, which is shown on the front of your bill. BACS remittance slips can be emailed to bacsremittances@anglianwater.co.uk or sent by post.

By post

Please make cheques or postal orders payable to 'Anglian Water'. Write your nine digit account number on the back and send it together with the payment slip to:

Do not send cash in the post. Please do not send post-dated cheques as they will be processed upon receipt and you may incur bank charges as a result. Receipts will not be issued for cheque payments.

Please note: It may take up to five working days for your payment to reach us, so please take this into account when you make your payment.

By Direct Debit

Paying by Direct Debit is budgeting made easy. It's simple, safe and convenient to use and allows you to spread the cost of your bills over the year. Automatic payments from your bank or building society can help take away the worry of forgetting to pay your bills on time. Please contact us if you require more information.

By debit / credit card

If you would like to pay by debit or credit card please contact us with your nine digit Anglian Water account number to hand.
