Under Section 185 of the Water Industry Act 1991 any person with an interest in land or in adjacent land may give notice to Anglian Water to alter or remove its existing assets from this land.
If it is not possible to alter the position of your building/development, we will consider allowing you to divert the sewer. If a sewer diversion is acceptable you will be required to enter into a legal agreement to allow you to divert the public sewer and the cost of carrying out the works must be borne by you. There are also fees payable in association with the agreement and we will provide details of these on request.
