Start Making a Difference

Start is a new initiative, inspired by The Prince of Wales, to help show people across the UK what a more energy efficient, cleaner and healthier future can look like - in other words to help us all lead more sustainable lives.

Water is central to our lives and wellbeing, at home and at work.  And it's at the heart of our environment and community life too - so that's why we think that Start is such a great idea, and why we hope as many people as possible will support it and get involved.

Anglian Water was among the first to sign up to Start, alongside household names like B&Q, Waitrose, EDF Energy, BT, Asda and M&S.

There are lots of fun and interesting ways to get involved and to start making a difference. Please join us!

Most important is the gravel garden we are sponsoring at the Garden Party at Marlborough House in London. Internationally renowned garden designer and horticulturist, Beth Chatto has designed this very special exhibit to emphasise how to use water more wisely, and still have a beautiful garden through the seasons.
