Regularly clean drinking water taps.
Occasionally, following sampling, bacteria is identified in customers’ tap fittings. This can be the result of poor tap hygiene and can occur due to cross-contamination from food or other items washed in the sink.
It is advised that taps used for drinking water are regularly cleaned using a mild household disinfectant.
After cleaning, run the tap for a few moments to remove any remaining disinfectant.
