Problems paying your bill

One pound coin dropped into water

Having enough money to pay your bills can sometime be a bit of a challenge. If you’re finding it hard, call us as soon as possible on our helpline 0800 169 3630 and we will work with you to come up with a payment plan.

Who else can help?

You can get independent advice from:

  • Citizens Advice
  • National Debt line
  • Consumer Credit Counseling Service
  •  A solicitor

Details for these agencies and others can be found in the phone book or at your local library.

If you receive Income Support, the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) may be able to arrange for direct payment from your Income Support; Pension Credit; Employment Support Allowance or Job-Seekers Allowance to pay for your water bill. The DWP are unlikely to give you money, but may be able to help in other ways.

We will also take into consideration recommendations made by independent financial advisors.

Anglian Water Assistance Fund (AWAF)
