Nigel Woodroffe of Shrewsbury lands biggest Rainbow at Rutland Water since 2002.
Nigel Woodroffe from Shrewsbury netted a huge 13lb 6¾oz Rainbow on 27 May – the biggest Rainbow since the record was broken by Mike Burnside with a 14lb 4oz Rainbow in 2002. Nigel was boat fishing in the South Arm and hooked the fish using a diawl bach and floating line and then had 15 anxious minutes before he landed it to the boat.
