Lots of predator action at Pitsford and good sport for the trout anglers with a rod average of 5.7.

Fish 287 (season 5,887) Returns 50 (1,029) Rod average 5.7 (5.7)
Pitsford Water has been busy this week with the start of the predator season. Even the downpours didn’t deter anglers with many Pike caught. Reports came in from one boat of 30 fish caught with Pike weighing up to 15lb. We are hearing of bigger fish coming in most days. There are also some nice Perch of 2 or 3lb being taken.

Trout anglers are also enjoying good sport on the fly with a rod average of 5.7. We have seen some mixed results in cold, rainy conditions. The reservoir continues to produce some excellent returns with quality Browns. Buzzers and crunchers are still proving successful. Dries have also started to work.

Mid week boat winner            J Hickey.
