Learning to sail at Rutland Watersports Centre

We offer high quality tuition at Rutland Watersports. Learn to sail in a fun atmosphere and informal surroundings. Courses meet RYA standards and are all reasonably priced.

For the best introduction to sailing, windsurfing, power-boating or canoeing, come along to Rutland Watersports on the north shore of Rutland Water Park at Whitwell. There is a wide range of clubs and courses running throughout the year that cater for all ages and abilities. A small selection is shown below. Adult tuition 2011

Adult watersports clubs

Prior booking is essential. The adult windsurfing and sailing club clinic is open every Saturday from 4.15pm to 6.15pm and costs £40 per person.

Personal tuition

From £29 per hour for the instructor (kayak/canoe).

Please note: equipment hire is included in the cost.

Tuition using your own equipment

£23 per hour.

Family dinghy tuition

£110 for two hours tuition.

Day Courses for 2011
Day courses run from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Lunch is included.
