This iconic church is Rutland's most famous landmark. It was saved from the water and has become a stunning location for civil weddings and classical concerts. It is open to the public on selected dates giving visitors the opportunity to discover the history of this beautiful building and its surroundings.
Visitors can see inside this iconic landmark Sunday to Wednesday between 12.30pm and 3pm from April until the end of August. There is no charge but donations are welcome. The church continues to grow in popularity for civil weddings with many couples having happily staged their special occasion in this unique venue. Normanton Church provides a wonderful setting for Music on the Water - a series of evocative concerts. 2014 Concert dates under the prefix 'Music on the Water' can be viewed here.
