An Anglian Water customer who signed up to a new initiative which enables her to pay bills on line is celebrating the decision, after winning £500 in a prize draw.
Tracey Hemingway from Boston in Lincolnshire opted into the electronic billing service, which is a new way of managing bills securely through an online bank. It’s free, easy to use and helps the environment by reducing the need to send paper bills.
Mrs Hemingway received details of the promotion in her annual bill from Anglian Water, which invited customers to try the new service and offered those who signed up the opportunity to be included in a free £500 prize draw.
Anglian Water was one of the first companies to sign up for the service, to give its customers a more convenient way of viewing and paying their bills. It has now been joined by more than 30 other organisations, including TV Licensing and, very soon, High Street store cards and credit cards.
