The Potting Shed Club is part of our Drop 20 campaign for everyone, everywhere to drop 20 litres each per day – that’s 2 buckets full of water. That’s a lot of water saved for tomorrow.

We all love to have a beautiful garden and clean cars but there are ways of using water outdoors without wasting water, as well as money. Swapping a hose pipe for a watering can will instantly save you 150 litres each time you water your garden.
Also, you don’t need to water your lawn if it’s brown. A good downpour will soon bring it back to life. And poking it with a garden fork in the autumn will improve drainage.

Planting drought-resistant plants and watering with a can at the roots will help keep things blooming too. We want to help you get started on the right foot, so we've got plenty of tips in our calendar to remind you each month.
