Anglian Water sees record 300% increase in Priority Services Register sign ups over last 12 months

Over 100,000 customers across the Anglian Water region are now being supported through the water company’s Priority Services Register, which offers additional services to those who need support.
Since the beginning of lockdown in March the company saw sign ups to the register increase by 35%, as Anglian Water provided additional support to customers who were shielding and the most vulnerable during these unprecedented times.
The company’s priority service offers help to a wide range of people - from those with sight, hearing, or mobility difficulties, to parents with babies under 12 months old. The service also provides support to customers with long or short-term medical needs should there be any interruption to their water supply.
Samantha Ross, who heads up the Priority Services Register for Anglian Water, said: “ We offer a wide range of support, from helping to read your water meter, to sending out bills in other formats as well as bottled water deliveries for our most vulnerable customers.
“Our customers are our number one priority, and our Priority Services Register enables us to provide that support tailored to meet their needs.”
