Investing to protect homes and the environment in Bletchley

We’re committed to protecting your local environment, preventing flooding and making sure your toilets keep flushing. That’s why we’re investing £1.4 million to upgrade the sewer network in Bletchley.

Sewers need maintenance to keep them flowing and ensure pollution doesn’t find its way into the environment. We use remote CCTV cameras to regularly monitor the state of our sewer pipes, and this information helps us build an investment programme targeted to the area’s most in need. This means we’re using your bill money efficiently and protecting rivers and wildlife effectively.

When a sewer pipe gets old there is an increased risk of bursts and leaks causing potential pollution and interruption to our customers sewerage services.

What’s happening in your area?

We’re replacing over one kilometre of sewer pipes in Bletchley. We started the project in June and now hope to finish in January, but as with any engineering scheme there's always the potential for unforeseen delays.
