Whilst Anglian Water are able to provide information relating to an Agreement if it remains in force, this information should firstly be sought from the developer/landowner, as they are responsible for the progression of the Agreement and the timing thereof.

However should the developer be unable to provide the required information, we are able to confirm the following: -

  • Whether there is an Agreement and if it remains in force
  • A copy of the Agreement and Plan
  • The current status of he Agreement from our perspective

If you are (or are acting on behalf of) a homeowner or buying a property affected by one of the below agreements:

Sewer Adoption Agreement: This is an agreement where a private sewer or lateral drain is transferred to a water company to be maintained as part of the public sewer system.
Sewer Diversion Agreement: This involves an agreement to divert an existing sewer to a new route, often needed when a new building or structure would otherwise obstruct the current sewer line.
Sewer Requisition Agreement: This is an agreement between a developer and a water company for the construction of a new public sewer to serve a new development.

Buildover Agreement: This agreement is needed if you intend to build over or near a public sewer. It ensures that the sewer remains accessible for maintenance or repair.

We are able to provide this at a cost of £156 plus VAT.  Simply complete our request form, which will enable us to raise an invoice.  Once confirmation of payment is received we will provide a response within 5 working days.
