Planning your development

We fully support the planning framework process and recognise the importance of working closely with developers in our region to understand their development site requirements.

Pre development enquiries

The Planning and Equivalence Team offers a pre development service for Developers in the Anglian Water region. We aim to provide the following information within 15 days of us receiving a completed pre development enquiry form.

Water

• Images of Anglian Water apparatus showing water mains in the vicinity of the proposed development site.
• Details of any water assets within or close to the site boundary and easement or divisionary requirement information.
• Details of any reinforcement work required to supply water to the proposed development site.
• Confirmation of available water supply to the site and connection points.
• Indicative budgetary costs where possible.

Sewerage

• Images showing Anglian Water sewerage assets in the vicinity of the proposed development site.
• Details of any sewerage assets within or close to the site boundary and easement or diversionary requirement information.
• Details of any reinforcement works required.
• A sewer network capacity check and potential connection points.
• Trade effluent advisory information.

In order to process your enquiry we will require payment by cheque or by debit or credit card.

If you opt to pay by debit or credit card, we will call you shortly for your card details to enable your payment to be processed.

We also require the following supporting documents:

• Site location plan
• Layout plan (if available)
• Surface water calculation method details (if applicable)
• Existing drainage plan (if available)
• Any other supporting documents

Please note, we cannot process your enquiry until payment and supporting documents are received.
