Who else can help?

Independent advice can be found at a number of agencies for example:

  • Citizens Advice
  • National Debt line
  • Consumer Credit Counselling Service
  •  A solicitor

You can find contact details for these agencies and more in the phone book or at your local library.
If you receive Income Support, the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) may be able to arrange for direct payment out of your Income Support; Pension Credit; Employment Support Allowance or Job-Seekers Allowance to pay for your water services. The DWP are unlikely to give you money, but may be able to help in other ways.

We will also take into consideration recommendations made by independent financial advisors.
