This iconic church is Rutland's most famous landmark. It was saved from the water and is now open to the public who can discover the history of this beautiful building and its surroundings. Normanton Church also provides a stunning location for civil weddings and classical concerts.
Visitors can see inside this iconic landmark Sunday to Wednesday between 12.30pm and 3pm. There is no charge but donations are welcome. Please note these times are subject to change if the Church is booked for a function.
The church continues to grow in popularity for civil weddings with many couples having happily staged their special occasion in this unique venue. Normanton Church provides a wonderful setting for Music on the Water - a series of evocative concerts. 2013 Concert dates can be viewed here.
