Ravensthorpe is a 100-acre Victorian reservoir and is the oldest of our Northamptonshire reservoirs situated in a sheltered valley.
Anglers can enjoy trout fishing in peaceful surroundings from the bank of the reservoir, by boat or float tube. Bird watchers are welcomed. However, to avoid disturbance, access is restricted to permit holders only. Bird Watching Permits are available from the nearby Pitsford Fishing Lodge and include access to Pitsford and Hollowell reservoirs.
The Fishing Lodge at Ravensthorpe Reservoir has a small selection of flies and leaders for sale and there are facilities for a hot drink.
