Anglian Water is on the hunt for 17 staff to fill newly created permanent positions in its customer contact centre, based in Lincoln.

The new members of the team will become the ‘voice’ of Anglian Water for its six million customers across the eastern region. Successful candidates will join an already strong team of enthusiastic communicators helping to answer around 7,000 customer queries every day.

Tom Langley, Anglian Water’s resourcing manager, said: “We’re already one of the leading employers in the region and it’s great that we can create new jobs in the current climate.

“Our new recruits will be a key part of our team helping to make sure that customers are very satisfied with every conversation and interaction they have with Anglian Water.

“We’re looking for flexible, reliable and committed people who enjoy a challenging and fast-moving job.”

The main aspect of the job will be answering account queries, processing meter readings, payments and generally being an excellent first point of contact for customers.

Tom continued, “As one of the largest water companies in the UK, we’re transforming our business to make sure that delivering great customer service is at the heart of everything we do.

“It’s a great job opportunity with lots of benefits including a pension, generous holidays, extensive training and plenty of opportunities for career development.”
