Anglian Water is once again sponsoring the popular Cambridgeshire music festival ‘Fringe in the Fen’ as it returns for a second year.

The festival will run in the village of Fenstanton from the 6 -13 July 2013 with all profits being donated to the local Macmillan Cancer Support.

Festival-goers are in for a treat this year with a line-up tipped to be better than ever. A blend of nationally acclaimed musicians and the most gifted new artists from across the country will perform alongside up-and-coming local talent.

Ciaran Nelson, from Anglian Water, said: “Fringe in the Fen is a creative and inspiring venture that supports local talent. In turn, it deserves support from the local community and from the companies that serve this region, such as Anglian Water.

“It's a pleasure to sponsor the festival and we’re very happy our contribution will help ensure the money raised goes directly to help those in need of Macmillan's care and support."

The water utility, which is based just down the road in Huntingdon, is sponsoring the second ever performance of 'Cautionary Tales for the Nice and Naughty' Kate Symonds-Joy. The show is a ‘romp through the custard and conkers of childhood’ with stories, performed in poetry and song, of some of our favourite little terrors, including nonsense classics by Edward Lear and the fables of Hillaire Belloc.
