Greater Peterborough University Technical College (GPUTC) opened its doors to its first students in September 2016, offering 14 to 19 year-olds technical and academic qualifications, with a special focus on engineering and the built environment.
The GPUTC’s state-of-the-art building provides a fantastic learning environment with facilities for budding engineers, builders, designers and architects - students keen to combine technical qualifications with traditional GCSEs and A-Levels.
For us, sponsoring GPUTC is more than just being a financial supporter or a name above the door; we want high-calibre students with the right skills, experience and mind-set to meet our future recruitment needs.
Around a third of our workforce retires in the next decade so we’re helping our region’s best and brightest engineers and technicians who leave school with the right skills and experience to join our business. All GPUTC students who successfully complete their studies are guaranteed a job interview with us.
GPUTC accepts student admissions from the Greater Peterborough catchment area, including: Bourne, Chatteris, Manea, March, Huntingdon, Ramsey, Rutland, Sawtry, Spalding, Stamford, Whittlesey and Wisbech.
