Apply online for a water meter. Once we've received your application, we'll be in touch to arrange a fitting and you'll then be on a metered tariff. At this time, we'll send you your final unmeasured water statement.
With our Switchback Guarantee if you decide within two years metering isn't for you; you can switch back to unmeasured charges.
More than 80% of our customers have a water meter and pay for what they use. Last year more than 30,000 households switched , giving them greater bill control and better water usage awareness.
We'll then arrange a time to carry out a survey and find the best place to fit your meter.
If we can't find a suitable place, our plumber or member of our dig team will visit to prepare an area for the meter; if this happens, we'll make good the area once the ground has settled.
We'll let you know when your account has changed to metered-based charges and when you're likely to recieve your first bill. You'll also receive your closing unmeasured bill.
