We' re still here to support you. In response to the Corona Virus - we have gone digital

We work across a whole range of educational settings from primary to higher education establishments, and home learners. We offer interactive virtual sessions linked to the curriculum and workshops for STEM and Careers events, plus a series of online lessons and resource packs that can be delivered in school or virtually.

For primary schools our virtual lessons are:

- Tap Water Lesson – where it comes from and how to use it wisely.

- Recycling Water Lesson – where water goes when we’ve used it and how it is cleaned.

Both full of fun investigations linked to the curriculum (Science, Geography and Sustainability)

For more information on the lessons and how to book can be found here

If you can't facilitate a virtual visit, why not take a look at our 12 session of STEM activities.

For secondary students we are offering:

- An Engineering session where the students plan, build and test a water tower structure.

- A session looking at the water treatment process and our this impacts our own water footprint and what we can do to mitigate those impacts.

We are continuing our work to support STEM and careers events through virtual workshops.

Notice to head teachers and school administrators

Changes introduced in April 2017, means schools buy the water they use from licensed water retailers. For on-going advice and support about your water supply, schools should contact their retailer.

Our education service offers curriculum-linked sessions to support teachers and students in the areas we operate.

Our Community Education Team has developed a range of resources to aid your learning around water. These include teachers’ resources packs with activities, posters, games and more. Divided into primary and secondary, they’re designed to enrich your curriculum and Eco School status and are free to download.

These resources may also be useful for Cubs, Brownies and youth groups.
