Skills, Competencies and Experience
Tony has had a successful executive and nonexecutive career and is an experienced finance professional with commercial, strategic and financial expertise across the infrastructure, energy, utilities, transportation and logistics sectors. Tony also has significant experience of working with the Government in infrastructure investment and lowcarbon energy generation. Between February 2022 and September 2024, Tony was the Chief Financial Officer of Cadent Gas Limited, the UK’s largest gas distribution network.
Between 2006 and 2020, Tony was the Chief Financial Officer of Costain Group plc, the FTSE All-Share infrastructure solutions company and he has also held a number of senior management and financial positions at Taylor Woodrow. He has also served as a non-executive director and Chair of the audit and risk committee at Wincanton plc, the Low Carbon Contracts Company Limited and Electricity Settlements Company Limited.
Tony is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Tony is currently a non-executive director of Pantheon Infrastructure Plc.
