We’re rolling out free smart meters to homes across Hartlepool to help you keep an eye on how much water you’re using – and to see if switching could save you money.

 

Water’s one of our most precious resources and an essential part of our everyday routines. That’s why we’re rolling out smart meters across Hartlepool.  A simple, free upgrade that gives you a clearer picture of what you’re using day to day.  Helping us spot leaks and see if you could save money by just paying for what you use.  

We’re upgrading existing meters and fitting new ones in homes where there isn’t one already. You don’t need to do anything ye.  We'll be in touch when we’re in your area, and we’ll keep you in the loop throughout. 


If you’re getting a meter for the first time as part of the rollout, there’s no pressure to change the way you’re billed if you don’t feel it’s for you. We’re just giving you the tools to make an informed decision.
