If you think that your business requires a trade effluent consent you will need to contact your retailer and complete an application form called a Trade Effluent Customer Application Form (TECAF). Please return this application to your retailer. Once we have received the completed application and a drainage plan of your site from your retailer, we will process the application. We will keep both you and your retailer informed at key stages.

Depending on the nature of your discharge and the proposed volumes, flow and composition, various modelling may be done to ensure that your discharge is of no detriment to our assets, processes or the environment. The outcome of such modelling and impact assessment will determine if a consent is able to be granted and what limitations may be placed on the discharge.
