The east of England is home to some of the UK’s best beaches, most popular coastal towns and holiday resorts, and some of the rarest wetland habitats and wildlife.
Caring for our coastline is very important to us and we’ve invested over £300million pounds over the last 25 years to help protect it. We’ll continue to invest to keep our bathing waters in top condition and improve areas not yet classified as Excellent. But we all have a part to play in keeping our bathing waters clean.
